The Beginning of Elysee

Elysee Hotel is a proud venture of Ariana Tourism Development Company (Private Joint Stock), a firm dedicated to the design, construction, outfitting, and training of tourism facilities. In 2005, alongside its ongoing activities, the company made a strategic decision: to establish a four-star hotel targeting a clearly defined market segment.

From 2005 to 2006, extensive research was conducted to identify two key elements—the ideal target market and the best location for the hotel. Among all candidate cities, Shiraz emerged as the top choice. Within Shiraz, the modern Maali Abad district was selected over the traditional hotel zone around Zand Street.

While Zand Street is the historic hotel hub, our market analysis revealed significant drawbacks for our target guests, including high congestion, noise, late-night insecurity, and an aging urban fabric. The Elysee feasibility team determined that a quieter, more modern setting would provide a more appealing alternative for both domestic and international guests.

The vision of Elysee’s investors was clear: to select a location that, in time, would become a defining advantage—a serene, residential area that felt more like home than a conventional hotel. Proximity to metro stations and city entry points helped balance the distance from historical sites. What ultimately set this location apart were factors like:

Modern urban planning

Affluent neighborhood demographics

Proximity to major commercial centers and exhibition venues

Easy access via major highways

A quiet, secure residential street

After navigating a long and demanding approval process, we secured the necessary permits for the property on Pezeshkan Street. From 2006 to 2014, the hotel was carefully constructed using top-grade materials, state-of-the-art systems, and advanced quality controls, ensuring high resistance to earthquakes and structural issues—a safe haven for our guests.

Design & Architecture

A hotel's design is often shaped by its audience and environment. At Elysee, our target guests fit what we call the "Contemporary Classic" profile. With this in mind, the hotel’s architecture reflects a blend of modern aesthetics and subtle classical influences.

Public areas such as the lobby and ballroom embrace a clean, modern feel, but with elegant nods to classical design throughout. This thoughtful mix ensures that all guests—regardless of lifestyle or background—feel at ease, welcomed, and connected to the space.

Cold, impersonal materials and color schemes have been minimized. Instead, warm wood finishes and inviting tones dominate the decor, creating a cozy, intimate ambiance. The goal of our interior design is to foster comfort, peace, and a sense of belonging.

While remaining true to modern hospitality standards and physical limitations, the design team prioritized a space that resonates with both Iranian and international travelers. Elements of Shiraz’s traditional colors, local handicrafts, and statues of historical figures bring the spirit of Persian culture to life—contributing to Elysee’s role in showcasing Iran’s rich heritage.

Global Standards, Local Soul

At Elysee, operational excellence is built on a foundation of internationally recognized hospitality standards, adapted to fit our culture and context. These frameworks are inspired by the global practices of IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), drawing insights from over 70 countries and refined through rigorous testing and real-world application.

Our Leadership Philosophy

Elysee Hotel is family-owned and operated, and this family spirit extends to every team member. We believe that when colleagues feel a sense of belonging and harmony, they are better equipped to deliver heartfelt, genuine service.

Our guests don’t step into a sterile, impersonal hotel—they experience the warmth of a caring, close-knit team that treats them like extended family. This philosophy drives every service policy and interaction within the hotel.
The Elysee management model is rooted in strategic thinking, teamwork, respect, and professionalism. All senior managers have been trained abroad and bring a global perspective to local hospitality. Modern technology is integrated across all departments, enabling efficient, high-quality service delivery.
We follow the Japanese Total Quality Management (TQM) system—a philosophy that believes excellence is never final. Each day presents an opportunity to improve. To remain still is to fall behind. Continuous growth is not just encouraged—it’s expected.
